PCR Global is proud to provide ongoing support to our delegates through a variety of funding and learning schemes.

We work closely with employers and training support organisations to ensure each delegate receives the right assistance for their individual circumstances.

CITB Funding

Skilled and knowledgeable workers are vital to the construction industry, ensuring operational activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Skills and Training Fund for small and micro-sized businesses - Small or micro-sized construction company (with up to 99 employees) can get funding for your construction training needs. Tackle tomorrow with up to £10,000 for training. You can apply twice in 12 months but can only have 1 live project at a time.

Skills and Training Fund for medium-sized businesses - Medium-sized company (with between 100 and 250 employees) can get funding for your construction training needs. Gear up for growth with up to £25,000 for training. You can apply twice in 12 months but can only have 1 live project at a time.

Employer Networks offer bespoke, easy-to-access training and financial support. They give you a direct channel to communicate training needs and advise on how funding should be prioritised in your local area. CITB Grants Scheme helps the industry maintain high standards, making sure their workforce are being trained in the right skills for the construction industry to thrive.

CITB Levy applies to all employers ‘engaged wholly or mainly in construction industry activities’. In other words, when construction activities take up more than half of your total employees’ time (including subcontractors).

CITB Regional Construction Support Groups

PCR Global works closely with a range of CITB Training and Support Groups, giving members access to professional, friendly advice and funding opportunities for training.

Each group is led by its own Group Training Officer, who can help you identify and secure the right qualifications for your role.

ECITB Funding

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the employer-led skills organisation for the engineering construction sector in Great Britain. Each year, the ECITB invests around £28 million to strengthen workforce skills, support industry growth through training, and address labour shortages and skills gaps.

Its mission is to ensure the industry has the specialist expertise it needs. Funding from the Industrial Training Levy is used to raise skill levels and encourage continuous training.

Personal Learning Account (PLA)

Personal Learning Account (PLA) programme provides support across Wales for eligible individuals to gain higher level skills which will enable them to access a wider range of job opportunities and/or gain employment at a higher level within priority sectors

ReAct Plus (ReACT+) Scheme

The Welsh Government ReACT Plus is designed to assist those who are facing redundancy, been made redundant, or have been made unemployed within the past 12 months. The scheme is in place in order to gain the skills necessary to regain employment.
