Menopause Support at Work

NEW COURSE

3 AND HALF HOUR COURSE

Introduction

Menopause Support at Work is a three and half hour course aligned to BS 30416:2023 Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause in the Workplace. It has been designed for anyone who wants to increase their awareness and understanding of menopause in the workplace.

The course will introduce you to menopause issues such as

• Recognising Signs and Symptoms of menopause

• Understanding workplace support options

• Building confidence in having supportive conversations

• Exploring ideas to support colleagues experiencing symptoms

• Using appropriate and inclusive language when supporting others

• Key learning points from the British Standard

This course provides practical guidance and insight to help create a more supportive and inclusive working environments.

Learning Zone

Course attendees will have ongoing access to a PCR Global Learning Zone

• Menopause Support at Work

The Learning Zone holds information on the course, enabling continual reference for those that attend

Certification

Upon completion of the course you will be issued with a PCR certificate. Certification for this course has no expiry.

Course Objectives

The objectives of the Menopause Support at Work course are to provide

1. An introduction to BS 30416:2023 – Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause in the Workplace

2. Considerations for organisations on menopause support strategies.

3. An awareness of what we can do if a colleague discloses that they are perimenopausal or postmenopausal.

4. Knowledge that it is OK to proactively provide information and support for menopause.
