Introduction

This 1 day refresher Adult MHFA Qualsafe Level 3 course is designed for individuals who have previously completed the 2-Day Qualsafe Level 3 Mental Health First Aid course and need to renew their qualification before their current certificate expires.

Completing this course before the expiry date will ensure that your qualification remains valid and up to date.

As this is a requalification course, the syllabus is delivered at a significantly faster pace than the initial qualification. The course is intended for Mental Health First Aiders who are already familiar with the subject matter and have a good understanding of the topics covered.

To ensure you gain the maximum benefit from the course, we strongly recommend undertaking some home study prior to attendance to refresh your knowledge and understanding of the key concepts.

Topics covered

On completion of this Mental Health First Aid Requalification course, a Mental Health First Aider will have refreshed and enhanced their skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Directing anyone with potential mental ill health to appropriate and reliable support, both within the workplace and externally.
