The SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is a 5 day training course for anyone in the construction industry considering, or already holding construction site management responsibilities. This includes the planning, organising, monitoring and controlling of construction projects/workers.

The SMSTS covers most legislation relevant to safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries (see ‘Course Overview’, above). It highlights the need for workplace risk assessments, the implementation of the necessary control measures and the importance of communication to sustain a health and safety culture within the workforce.
